America has become incredibly health-conscious over the years, especially since obesity has become a growing problem in this country.  And while the experts have been touting healthy eating and exercise, the end result that most people are looking for is a net loss in overall weight.  There are several individuals out there who spend countless hours in the gym and yet after months and months of hard work, the results just aren’t showing up.  Individuals who are experiencing this kind of frustration are missing one important key: diet.

1.       Fruits are rich in vitamin C and offer fat burning properties to the diet.  Vitamin C dilutes fat and helps to release it from the body.  These foods include limes, lemons, oranges, grapefruit and tangerines.

2.       There are a host of vegetables that burn fat.  These include cabbage, broccoli, soybeans, asparagus, carrots and chilis.
