Whether it is a missed appointment, a frustrating customer, or some on-going anxiety inducing product of your personal life, stress is a part of all our lives.  Though it may be wishful thinking to believe that one day we could live our lives completely stress free, it may be feasible to find a practical coping method that could allow us to live easier lives in general.

Stress inducing mechanisms are just as variable as the number of combinations that can be created with genetic sequencing.  Consequently, there are just as many ways to deal with stress.  It is important to understand something before seeking out a suitable stress-management system.

1)      Self-Awareness is the path to stress free success

Believe it or not, much of the stress that we experience is self –induced.  As much as we would like to believe that out frustrations are coming the from the outside, it is really how we react to that outside that determines how much stress we experience. 

 

Luckily we have control over how we respond to external stimulus, and with a degree of effort we are able to overcome challenges that would normally seem insurmountable.  The crux of this ability is the power of choice and the human emotion called desire.  If we can hone our ability to think in terms of end result and make our choices in alignment with those goals we come closer to utter fulfillment and true happiness.
